Welcome!

My name is Natasha Scott and I have a confession to make – I am addicted to traveling. My love for travel stemmed from my parents who were both born in Europe and immigrated to the United States before I was born. Most of my extended family still lives there so I spent many summers exploring various cities and countries. The excitement of visiting a new city, experiencing the culture, tasting the delicious food and meeting new people is something I will never get bored of. I met the man of my dreams in college and we quickly bonded over our shared love of traveling. Cole grew up all over the United States and lived as far Northeast as Maine and as Southwest as Hawaii. Our love for each other and traveling has only grown over the past 10 years. Over the course of our relationship, we visited numerous states (usually cheering on our alma mater – the Georgia Bulldogs) and even a few countries together.

We are now happily married and back in 2012, Cole changed careers. He begun working for a major airline, which provided us with the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world on standby. We decided to make the most out of this incredible opportunity and try to travel as much as possible. Then in 2015, the opportunity to move to Amsterdam was presented and we both jumped at the chance to live abroad. After 2 wonderful years enjoying the canals and bikes of Amsterdam, we moved to London! We’ve now been abroad for nearly 4 years and continued to explore new cities and countries. Our goal has been to visit a new place once a month and we’ve done pretty well sticking to that!

I started this blog as we wanted to be able to remember our adventures and experiences down the road (and the often comical escapades of standby travel), but I also hope that you all enjoy hearing about our trips as well. We will share our favorite restaurants and places we’ve discovered, so in case you find yourself in a city where we have been, you will know where to get started.

Fasten your seatbelts and I hope you enjoy the ride.
